Gary: Landlord of the Flies: September 4: Gary and I Set the Date

This blog is hilarious, though sadly at your expense. I find it hard to believe people like Gary actually exist. I'll keep my fingers crossed for Oprah. Thanks for making our days with your Gary Saga. :)

This might be the best story ever. And to think I was worried about my apartment having the wrong lease term on their website. This just goes to show, it could always be worse, and significantly funnier.

Have a great, safe trip! I'm sure Gary will miss you! You should send him a postcard! :-)

How was Gary when you saw him? Any news there?

I love this blog (sorry for you, but it is making you an internet celebrity, and that's not nothing)! Personally, I would like to see you guys on Judge Judy, but it doesn't matter too much to me.

When the HELL did Italy get the internet?!
  • s73417h · 3 months ago
Wow, I've been trcking this for quite sometime. I offer my appologies that you would have to go through such a horrifying experience. You are definately setting the stage for human/renters rights. In an age where everyone seems to be suing everyone, I'm happy to say your case is more worthy then half the crap I hear about. Best of luck with the case, I doubt you'll need it. Hopefully the U.S. Legal System will straighten him out enough. Although I'm somewhat of a Tolstoi fanatic, which leeds me to believe we haven't heard the last from Crazy Gary.

I've enjoyed your website although I am aware the laughs are all a bit bitter to you. It can't be fun going through all of this but still: thank you for sharing this with the world. Hope you have a great time in Italy!

Be safe and hope you get a chance to enjoy Italy. Can't wait for the Gary update!

If you make your way over to Bari, go to a little town called Polignano A Mare. They have the best gelato, ever. Also stop and stay at the B and B Grottone. My uncle owns it and I'm sure he could hook you up for the off season. He's crazy too but in the fun Italian way.

Hey "BOY." You are hilarious and seem to have a special knack for writing!

    Gary?? Is that YOU!?!?!

    :D

Seriously, it would be nice if Gary could figure out how to use the internet and read this blog. His comments would be worth reading!!

    Oh this is fun.

    I hope everything works out.

You're in St. Charles, IL? I'm in Lake in the Hills.

I am counting down the days until I can see your case. I'll put in a good word with Oprah for you.

Good luck! Was thinking of posting your link on my satire news site www.FairCityNews.com but it think it is too real for people. Unreal at the best. Plus we only cover Southwest Missouri. So unless you go to court in MO, I'll be watching from afar.

Hope to see you on daytime TV soon :)

I have not laughed out loud reading something in a LONG time..THANK YOU for this!
I hope you get on one of your shows...I"d really like to see this Gary in action...

.Hopefully, he makes the "Wise" choice to have a few for liquid courage--to make things really interesting at taping!
    GOOD LUCK!

    Any updates??
  • Jabberwocky · 2 months ago
Considering it's very nearly November and the poster said he was going to be abroad from September until January, I'd wager he's busy with work things and there's also nothing new to update with. ;)

"Italy does in fact have the internet, so I will be able to keep you up to date."

I was simply asking if there were any updates. Sorry for my curiosity.

You will update this when you get back from Italy, won't you? It's December in 2 days; I hope that means we'll hear more about Gary soon ;)

We look forward to your return Stateside (doubt you do, though, Italy's lovely!) This is all terribly awesome and you are super-cool.

I found your blog on "emailsfromcrazypeople.com" and love it. Best of all is your ability to maintain composure and politeness. While beneficial to yourself, I can imagine it to be difficult to *always* answer kindly and frankly. Well done, sir!

    Re: Italy...
If you make it to Sicily (the weather is alright there this time of year), check out the tiny town of Cefalù - gorgeous beaches, relaxed people, and less of the "tourist vs. local" mentality of Palermo.
Cinque Terre, on the Western coast, is also a phenomenal day trip (I went with a night train on either side) though can get expensive if you want to stay there.
If you come to Milano, I'd be more than happy to buy you a cup of coffee, a drink, or a sandwich as thanks for this blog.

Cheers, and good luck with the trial!

Just checking back for an update. Maybe "no news is good news" but I can't WAIT to see how this all falls out. ;)
    Keep fighting the dumb people!
