In CA, a landlord has 21 days to provide statement of deposit (how it was spent), or refund your deposit. Then it's sue-the-fucking-shit-outta-them-time for 300% of the deposit. I just won a case for $1800. Not sure what the laws are there, but it's definately worth the time to check up on. I had to quote the civil code to the judge as well, he was unaware of the law.

argh, it might be disturbing but in the end you will remember all of it and laugh even harder than we do when we are reading these posts =)
I somewhat feel pitty for Gary but then his attitude is so vulgar that you can't get past it!
