She is deceptive, abusive, unprofessional, and lies at length over and over. A vicious woman. The police and attorneys have been called about her. Her dogs are persistently loud at all hours, outside the house, above the house, over the ceiling, outside of the windows, her dogs charge people on the street. the woman is a nightmare.

Hi Gabe, this is the funniest thing I've read in a long time! You're writing is top notch and your attention to detail is awesome! Truly wish this was on judge Joe Brown and Judge Judy! I haven't had a landlord like this but it brought me back to when I was renting a room from a guy who was taking my rent and using it for weed and meth while I was getting up at 4 am every morning to drive 80 miles one way to work. On the day my truck broke down I was at home when the sheriff showed up to evict us and because my truck was broken down I could only take what I could carry. Turns out my roommate was growing weed in his closet so I never saw any of my belongings again! Hope you finally got your deposit back!! Best wishes, Jon

Sorry if someone already pointed this out, but in response to your mentioning that people called you a troll for thinking you were just making this up, I might call you a troll in the sense that you seem to be egging Gary on a bit (not that I blame you ;-) ), which is another meaning of the term (as far I've come across).

Yeah, I had to go through small claims in MA for my work when a property manager decided he didn't need to pay us for materials installed and work performed. After the win I had to wait for a year (in case he filed an appeal) before I could go and get an arrest warrant on him. Then I had to pat the Sheriff's department about $800.00 to have him actually arrested. In the end the judge told him jail or pay up (and I would have had to go about seizing his property and selling it at auction had he chosen jail). At that point he decided it was in his best interest to pay up and he wound up having to cough up about three grand (he originally ditched us on about a $1000 bill, we had been adding interest as well as court fees as this progressed).

Hey Gabe, just found your blog while sat on my sofa in London, England, 3 years after the whole saga, after I spotted a link to it on a Lord Of The Rings community fansite! Gotta love how stuff like this spreads. Anyway, glad you eventually won in court (as if there was ever any doubt you wouldn't) and hope you've finally got the money back from Crazy Gary!

Hey I'm a new landlord and found this blog trying to read up and learn. Crazy story! It looks like you haven't touched it for some time, and I'm looking to blog about some of my experience, too.
