interesting! i do hope that i can see this trial if it does go to Judge Joe Brown or Judge Judy. Of course it would be even more entertaining if i could see it in person but alas things have been hectic and with school starting it doesn't look like that would be possible.

but good luck on the case!

I am going to agree, Judge Judy (unless Judge Marilyn Milian of The People's Court wants to throw her hat in the ring, because she is by far the most kickass judge on TV, in addition to being an awesome addition to the ranks of feisty redheads).

OMG I was reading this story and thinking that I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see this on People's Court - Marilyn Milian is feisty and would definitely give Gary a piece of her mind without getting too snippy like Judge Judy can be.

Good luck, I can't even believe this - I'm positive you'd get back your deposit, court costs...perhaps even treble damages, since Gary failed to provide the "receipt" within 30 days, and/or illegally evicted you. My goodness, I would LOVE to see this on People's Court (but if it was on one of the other shows, I could stand to watch them just for this case)!

The decision of which show to go on rests with Gary, since Gabe seems willing to do any of them and Gary is reluctant to agree to any of them, as that would require facing reality. If he were smart, he would take the show with the most lucrative offer, but if he were smart he would also not drunkenly solicit sexual acts and send Gabe mountains of evidence to use against him in court. Odds are Gary will not sober up long enough to face reality and agree to one of these shows' fantastic offers, will lose miserably in small claims court, and will not have the money to pay Gabe.

Sorry Gabe, I fear your deposit has already been converted to black velvet, swallowed, and vomited back out.
